Sulphadiazine Elisa Test Kit

Antibody to Sulphadiazine is bound to a microtitre plate. Sulphadiazine in the sample competes with the horseradish peroxidase labelled Sulphadiazine (enzyme-labelled antigen) for binding to the limited number of antibody sites on the microtitre plate. The enzyme substrate is added. After an appropriate time has elapsed for maximum colour development, the enzyme reaction is stopped by the addition of acid producing a colour change from blue to yellow. The optical density is read at 450 nm with the colour intensity being inversely proportional to the concentration of sulphadiazine in the sample.
